On the 9th, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security announced that it would be conducting 'voluntary civil defense training' for civil defense personnel in Gyeonggi Province and nationwide, as it was designated as the first 'Civil Defense Education Recognition Safety Experience Center' in Gyeonggi Province.

❍ The civil defense voluntary participation system allows civil defense members with two years or more of service to be exempted from civil defense training and receive recognition of training hours when they complete experiential training related to civil defense education and training.

❍ Currently, there are 17 voluntary civil defense training institutions nationwide. The designation of additional training institutions in Gyeonggi Province is expected to improve educational convenience for civil defense personnel in the province. In particular, it is expected to receive a great response from civil defense personnel as they can complete civil defense training while experiencing safety with their families.

❍ The voluntary civil defense training consists of ▲ life safety, fire safety ▲ disaster safety ▲ first aid ▲ maritime safety, and you can participate by completing the designated training hours each year.

❍ Those who wish to receive training can make a reservation online in advance or make a reservation on-site on the day. They can visit on the designated date and time with their ID card. After the experience, they can submit a certificate of completion to the relevant civil defense officer to complete the civil defense training.
