Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority delivers warmth with rice of love for Chuseok.

36 social support facilities and organizations in Gyeonggi Province,

Practicing warm holiday sharing

Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority (CEO Seok-gu Kim) announced that it has successfully completed its Chuseok Love Rice Sharing social contribution project, donating rice to 36 socially disadvantaged support facilities and organizations in Gyeonggi Province. The donation ceremony was held twice on the 11th and 12th at the Imae 1-dong Community Center in Seongnam City and the Icheon City Disabled Taekwondo Association with the attendance of relevant officials.

This donation activity serves as an opportunity for the Port Authority to further strengthen its close ties with the local community. The Port Authority has been operating various social contribution programs, and this rice donation, in particular, was planned to provide practical assistance to neighbors experiencing difficulties during the holiday season. The rice was distributed evenly to socially vulnerable people in Gyeonggi Province through various facilities and organizations.

Kim Seok-gu, CEO of Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority, said, "I am glad that we could be of some help to our neighbors in need this Chuseok." He added, "As a public corporation that grows and develops together with the local community, Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority plans to continue various sharing activities for underprivileged neighbors." He also expressed his intention to once again reflect on the meaning of Chuseok, a national holiday, through this donation and to spread a culture that practices the value of sharing.

Meanwhile, Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority is operating various projects to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy and the promotion of welfare. In addition to this rice donation, the Port Authority is fulfilling its social responsibility in various ways, such as through the Longevity Photo Studio project, which shares photos of seniors celebrating their longevity, and the Maritime Logistics Youth Employment Academy, which creates jobs for young people.
